FAQ: Error initializing DB
When you get an error "Error initializing DB" when starting powerDOCUMENTS the
following things should be checked:
- Make sure the database exists and is installed in the right place.
In a default installation this is "C:\Program Files\KLV\powerDOCUMENTS 2\powerDOCUMENTS.sdb".
The path will vary with the OS language and the selection of a different installation path.
It may also be changed via configuration settings (ConfigKeys 'dbPath').
- Make sure all users accessing powerDOCUMENTS have write access to the
directory where the database file resides.
