FAQ: Installation

• If you are installing on Windows 98 or Windows NT please look at the special FAQs.
  
  
• You need admininstrator or poweruser rights on the local machine to install powerDOCUMENTS.
  
  
• To start the installation simply start the self exracting archive you downloaded. The contents of the archive will be extracted to the directory you specify (Extraction directory) (default: c:\powerDOCUMENTStemp).
  
  A special installation program within this archive will check all the requirements needed to be met for running a .NET application and will install powerDOCUMENTS afterwards.
  
  
• When the installation is finished you may delete the extraction directory
